Research Facilities

The School of Agriculture is also conducting interdisciplinary research activities in association with the ‘School of Engineering’ and the ‘School of Life Science’, present in the premises of the GIET University. Last year, our faculty along with HOD, School of Life Science applied for a project under ‘Forest Biotechnology’ to DBT (Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology Government of India) as ‘Development of sustainable technological options through biotechnological interventions for restoration of the forest lands of Eastern Ghats’.

The institute is having well-equipped laboratories, specialized equipment and basic required infrastructures, including wi-fi facilities, subscription to hundreds of print and online journals, and more to support research activities in the campus. Attractive stipends and scholarships are also available for the right candidates as incentives for post-graduate research.
