In order to bring equity, efficiency and excellence in the Higher Education System, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced “Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)” with the hope that all Universities will adopt these measures to enhance academic standards.
GIET University though partially adopted the CBCS policy, however on the recommendations of Academic Council; a committee has been constituted to prepare a comprehensive plan of action in this regard so that policy of UGC can be implemented in the letter and spirit from the academic year 2019-20
The core strength of the programmes at GIET University lies in its innovative curriculum, which integrates the strengths of theory with practical and experiential learning. The programme curriculum is frequently revised by bringing in recent case studies and examples from policy making domains. The quality of the curriculum is regularly evaluated by external academicians at different levels

Visits to relevant sectors of the industry are organized regularly to provide onsite learning experience. Industry internship is part of the course structure and the activity is supported by the training- placement cell of the University
