Mechanical Engineering department Established in 1997, the Department has emerged as a powerhouse for academics, scientific research, and cutting-edge technologies. Mechanical Engineering department is one of the oldest departments of the GIET University. The department provides B.Tech programme with intake strength of one hundred twenty students and three post graduate programmes with an intake of eighteen each. Mechanical department has obtained NBA accreditation four times. The department is well equipped with excellent laboratory facilities and resources both in terms of hardware and software. The department of Mechanical Engineering has center of excellence with Autodesk in association with Twintech, Republic motors, SV NDT Pvt. Ltd. for proving better education towards CAD/CAM, Automobile, Thermal engineering and Production. Department has signed MoUs with various universities and industries of international repute.
