The department of Bachelor of Business Administration at GIET University has tie-ups with different organisations, companies and skill development centres. This is to ensure that all the students are provided with a learning environment that challenges them and helps them develop their knowledge, practical and social skills holistically. The focus is also on developing their leadership qualities, evolve socially responsible behaviour and inculcate lifelong learning habit in them. The industrial tie-ups include the following industries, organisations, educational institutions and skill development centres:
- All India Management Association (AIMA)
AIMA is a national apex body of the management profession in India. It was established in 1957. AIMA organises a number of management-related activities and initiatives. Our students and faculty regularly attend these activities which offers them a platform to interact with business leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians and various other management institutions from across the country. Our students get an opportunity to attend and participate in different meetings, seminars, symposiums and so on. All this exposure provides an edge to our students which comes handy during placement drives.
- Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS)
AIMS is a professional body of Indian B-schools that safeguard the interests of management institutions. The department of Bachelor of Management Administration (BBA) of GIET University has collaborated with AIMS to help the cause of management education and research, which includes training and consultancy.
- KPMG
KPMG International Limited is an Anglo-Dutch multinational professional services network. It is one of the worlds biggest accounting organisations and is involved with work like financial audit, tax, and advisory.
The BBA department of GIET University has partnered with KPMG to provide training to the students in Forensic Accounting and Corporate Fraud. This will help the students get a grasp of important topics like anti-money laundering services, intellectual property rights, contract compliance and so on.
- SAP ERP
SAP is a German multinational corporation that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. It is the market leader in enterprise application software helping companies of all sizes run at their best and help customers optimise their business processes.
The BBA department of GIET University has tied up with SAP to set up an authorised training and international certification centre in enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CMSME)
Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (CMSME) is an affiliated body under the umbrella of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The BBA department of GIET University has tied up with CMSME to provide mentorship, peer-based learning and share innovative ideas with our students so that they can enter the entrepreneurial world without any difficulty.
The main objective of all these collaborations with industries, companies and skill development centres is to create a pool of industry-ready talent from amongst the students. This also ensures that the gap between the industry requirements and skills taught in the academic course is reduced.
