Centre of Excellence

The Research, Innovation & Incubation Centre (RIIC), Centre of Excellence was inaugurated at GIET University during the inaugural session of the three-day FDP from 22.06.2026 to 24.06.2026 organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with BSNL, Visakhapatnam. The Centre has been established to promote research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration in emerging technologies. It will provide advanced facilities for practical learning in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin Technology, IoT, Industry 4.0, drones, and next-generation communication systems. A MoU between GIET University and BSNL, Visakhapatnam marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership for faculty development, student training, research, and technology transfer. The Centre aims to nurture innovation, encourage interdisciplinary projects, support startup incubation, and develop industry-ready professionals through hands-on training and collaborative research activities. It will serve as a platform for creating an ecosystem of innovation and excellence in technical education.
