The department has given much emphasis on motivating and inspiring faculty members and students for advanced research in diverse areas such as

• Setting up of state-of-the –art laboratories and continuous up-gradation of existing labs in the department.
• Adequate technical support for caring and maintenance of laboratories and its advanced equipments.
• Research groups of scholars and faculty members are formed in emerging areas and encouraged to apply for grant to National and International funding agencies
• Conferences, seminars and workshops are organised in the emerging disciplines over the period of time.
• Senior faculty members with experience in emerging disciplines are regularly recruited
• 24X7 library, internet and laboratories facilities are available for research scholars and faculty members.
