Dr. Manoja Das HOD & Associate Professor, Biotechnology

Dr Manoja Das is currently working as associate Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, GIET University, Gunupur. He has obtained his Post Graduate, Master in Philosophy and Doctoral Degree from Berhampur University, Berhampur.

He has about 5 years of research and 18 years of teaching experience. His research area of interest includes Plant Biotechnology, Microbial physiology and nano biotechnology. He has published more than 23 research papers in different national/international journals of repute. Apart from that he has also written 03 book chapters. Recently, he has filed a patent in the area of nano biotechnology. He is the recipient of Young Scientist Award 2002 by Odisha Bigyana Congress.

Dr Das has got pleasing manners and actively involved for the improvement of the department and as well as of the institution.
