Student Association:

The Civil Engineering Association was formed with the primary aim of exposing potential Civil Engineers to the challenges of the profession. With both students and faculty as its members, the organization is one of the most active Civil Engineering Associations in India. The Civil Engineering Students Association popularly known as SACE. at GIET GUNUPUR. Civil Engineering Student association is a non-profit organization within the departments of Civil Engineering, GIET GUNUPUR. The members of the association include the Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students, faculty members, alumni of the Civil Engineering departments. The Association is working together to help and facilitate the overall development of students pursuing Civil Engineering. SACE provides platform for the students to showcase and sharpen student’s talents through a variety of events and activities planned throughout the year.

Objective:

The Technical Club in Department of Civil Engineering was formed in the year 2019, with a sole objective of harnessing the creative abilities of Civil Engineering students in the University, so that they may become more professional in engineering as a career in future, to serve the nation and to bring laurels to their Alma Mater GIET University.

Club Concreto of the Department of Civil Engineering has taken the responsibility of maintenance & development of rain water harvesting pond in GIET University.
