GIET University is thrilled to announce that we have successfully organized a blood donation camp on March 22, 2023. We were honored to have our esteemed registrar, Dr. N.V.J. Rao, and dean of the School of Engineering & Technology, Dr. A.B. Srinivasa Rao, inaugurate the event.

GIET University conducted a blood donation camp on the university campus on December 21, 2022. The purpose of the initiative was to raise awareness about blood donation. Additionally, it attempted to inform people about the value of blood donation and how it can help save lives. Blood Donation Camp.
A mega blood donation camp was organised on October 22nd, 2022 by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of GIET University, Gunupur at the university campus.
GIET University Organized Blood donation camp, 75 Units of Blood collected
Gunupur: 22.03.2022- The GIET University has organized a voluntary blood donation camp under the aegis of the NSS Unit today at the Blood Bank Gunupur. On this occasion, 75 Units of blood were collected from the students. This momentous programme has been inaugurated by Dr.N.V.J.Rao , Registrar of the GIET University. Dr.Ramesh Chandra Sahu, Superintendent, Sub-divisional Hospital,Gunupur has applauded the efforts made by the blood donor. The NSS Convener Dr.Premansu sekhar Rath has organised the camp successfully. Ms. Suruchi Rani Patro and Chandra Sekhar Patro collected the blood.
For several years , the GIET University has been organizing monthly Blood donation camp as well as Mega Blood Donation camp and the blood units have been providing to the blood banks for the benefit of the needy belong to the Districts of Gajapati, Ganjam and Rayagada. In this regard, the District Administration, the NSS and the SBTC have conferred the University with many felicitations and encouraging the GIET University for this noble cause.
