The School of Pharmacy was established on the GIET University campus to provide quality pharmaceutical education and develop competent pharmacy professionals. The School received State Government NOC from the Directorate of Medical Education & Training (DMET), Odisha, vide Letter No. 5824, dated 08 April 2025, for starting the B.Pharm course. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) granted approval for conduct of the B.Pharm program with an intake of 60 seats for the academic session 2025-2026, vide decision letter dated 30 June 2025. The School commenced its first admissions in the academic year 2025–2026.
The B.Pharm program emphasizes strong fundamentals, hands-on practical training, regulatory awareness, and modern pharmaceutical technologies, supported by qualified faculty, well-equipped laboratories, and modern teaching facilities. The School is committed to developing ethical, industry-ready pharmacy professionals aligned with national healthcare needs and global pharmaceutical advancements.

The School of Pharmacy offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), a 4-year (8 semesters) undergraduate degree program conducted as per the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) prescribed curriculum under a uniform national framework. The program is designed to provide strong foundations in pharmaceutical sciences along with practical laboratory training, regulatory awareness, quality systems, and exposure to modern pharmaceutical technologies to develop industry-ready pharmacy professionals.
