The list of Affiliations / Approvals / Recognitions / Accreditations of the School of Management Studies, GIET University are as follows:
- The School of Management, GIET University is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The NBA evaluates programs of technical institutes based on laid down norms. This includes infrastructure facilities, quality of teaching and learning, curriculum design and review, support services like laboratory, library, computer facility among others.
- The School of Management, GIET University is approved and recognised by the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The AICTE is a national-level apex advisory body that conducts a survey on the facilities available for technical education and aims to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner.
- The School of Management, GIET University is also a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organisation. It works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, government and civil society.
- The School of Management, GIET University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India, under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
- The School of Management, GIET University is a member of Bombay Management Association (BMA). BMA is India’s most premier Management Association, established in 1954. It is an independent non-profit making entity. BMA focuses on providing a wide range of services aimed at enhancing managerial effectiveness in a broad sphere of activities with a common desire to improve the Business Management in India.
- The School of Management, GIET University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The AIU is the national level body of universities in the country that promote university activities especially by way of sharing information and co-operation in the field of education, culture, sports and allied areas and recognized to grant equivalency of degrees awarded by foreign universities.
- The School of Management, GIET University is a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM). The British Academy of Management (BAM) was founded in 1986. Its mission is to become the pre-eminent European Learned Society in Business and Management. It is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to developing academic management researchers at every stage of their career. The Academy supports the professional development of members through specialised training events, provides networking & paper feedback opportunities at the BAM Annual Conference and access to Special Interest Group networks.
