Two-day Workshop on Patent Filing

Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University, Gunupur, Odisha, organized a “Two-day Workshop on Patent Filing” on the 16th and 17th of December, 2024. Dr. Nitin Khedkar and Dr. Vijayashri Khedkar, esteemed experts from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, Maharashtra, shared their expertise in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness about the importance of IPR, copyright, and patent filing for individuals as well as the University. The expert team reviewed approximately 80 patentable ideas submitted by various schools of the University and provided valuable feedback on the proposals. They also visited the University’s research facilities and offered insightful recommendations for further development.
