Study Tour, Department of ECE

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has successfully completed two days Study Tour for 6^th semester Students (2022-2026 Batch) from 7^th February 2025 to 8^th February 2025. On the first day of the study tour, Students have visited around 10 Advanced labs at TUV – AMTZ Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Andhra Pradesh. They have gone through the real-world problem-solving concept. Electromagnetic Measurement lab with Anechoic chamber provided a deeper insight about radiation mechanism. Acoustic lab provided a wonderful knowledge on Noise measurement for manufactured devices and equipment. Engineering safety lab, bio-instrumentation lab and other advanced labs have provided practical oriented knowledge. Students doing BIRAC projects have interacted about the equipment which is available for measuring the data. Assurance given by the resource persons to visit GIET U campus. A seminar / workshop can be conducted. Detailed discussion happened about the internship for ECE students. To achieve the excellence students have taken the blessings of Lord Barah LaxmiNarasimha Swami at Simhachalam. On the Second Day of the tour, 1. Students have visited Sankhya Technologies. They have go through a device which can translate the languages based on Barnamaala This device is called as sidhi based on all Indian languages. Can be connected to mobile A specific app is there Apart from it students have gone through other technologies. With beautiful memories in Vizag students have completed the study tour successfully. Around 100 Students have participated in this Study Tour.  Faculty members, Dr.Ribhu Abhusan Panda , Dr. Radhanath Patra , Ms. Jayanti Dang and Ms. Sandhayararani Swain have coordinated this tour and guided the students at every stage. Dr. Bibhu Prasad, Head of the Department has provided overall support and guidance.
