Spiritual Speciality Session

A Spiritual Speciality Session was successfully organized today under the leadership of the ICC Convener, Dr. Rajeshwari Das, and Co-Convener, Ms. Nithya B, in coordination with the Student Affairs Committee, headed by Prof. Ranjeet Panigrahi.

The session was conducted by Ms. Dristi Agarwal, MA Psychology student, and Ms. Anshu Priya, MCA Data Science student, both from Dev Sanskriti Vishva Vidyalaya, Haridwar. The resource persons delivered insightful talks integrating psychology, spirituality, and practical life applications. They introduced and explained various types of yoga and meditation, highlighting their practical relevance in promoting mindfulness, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Their interactive approach encouraged self-reflection, mindfulness practices, and value-based living among the participants.

The session focused on the concept of Spiritual Speciality, emphasizing the importance of spirituality in personal growth, mental well-being, ethical living, emotional balance, and professional responsibility. Special emphasis was laid on how spiritual awareness fosters inner strength, self-discipline, compassion, resilience, and a positive attitude toward life’s challenges. The program also underscored the role of spirituality in enhancing mental health, stress management, and the holistic development of students.

The program concluded with a brief yet inspiring address by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. A. V. N. L. Sharma, who emphasized the relevance of spirituality, yoga, and meditation in higher education and character building. He appreciated the efforts of the organizers and speakers for conducting a meaningful and impactful session. The event formally concluded with the felicitation of the Vice-Chancellor.
