Prof. Ashok Kumar Panigrahi, a retired professor of Environmental Sciences from Berhampur University, Berhampur, Odisha delivered an enlightening lecture on the transformative potential of biotechnology in addressing contemporary challenges. With the help of engaging examples, he emphasized the critical role biotechnology plays in unravelling biological truths, from understanding complex ecosystems to decoding genetic mysteries. Additionally, Prof. Panigrahi stressed the importance of directing biotechnological advancements responsibly, ensuring they align with ethical standards and sustainable practices.
