Orientation Programme, Department of Biotechnology

The Department of Biotechnology organized an Orientation Programme for all B.Tech. Biotechnology students to introduce them to the exciting opportunities and future prospects in the field of Biotechnology. The programme focused on the scope of Biotechnology, career opportunities, discipline, research and innovation, skill development and the importance of continuous learning for professional growth.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Registrar of GIET University, who addressed the students and highlighted the immense potential and diverse career opportunities available in the field of Biotechnology. The Registrar encouraged students to develop a clear vision for their future, remain committed to learning and make meaningful contributions to society through knowledge and innovation. The importance of developing technical competence, research aptitude, creativity, and professional skills was highlighted as essential for succeeding in the rapidly evolving biotechnology sector.

The Principal further addressed the students and emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, academic commitment, and consistent efforts in achieving personal and professional success. The students were encouraged to develop a positive attitude and make the best use of the opportunities and facilities provided by the University.

The Head of the Department of Biotechnology motivated the students to actively engage in research, innovation, skill development, practical learning, internships and industry-oriented activities.

As part of the programme, Appreciation Certificates were presented to students who demonstrated outstanding performance in examinations and notable achievements in research and innovation, recognizing their academic excellence, dedication, creativity, and contribution to the department.
