One Week Hands-on Workshop on Quantum Computing

The One Week Hands-on Workshop on Quantum Computing is a collaborative effort between the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and GIET University to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical exposure to quantum computing. This initiative under the AIU-GIET University-AADC program brings together academicians, researchers, and students to delve into the future of computing technology. Dr. Bidush Kumar Sahoo, Workshop Coordinator, GIET University, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries,
participants, and attendees. He highlighted the significance of the workshop, its objectives, and the collaborative efforts of the organizing team. Prof. (Dr.) NVJ Rao, Registrar, GIET University emphasized the importance of academic collaboration and innovation, aligning the workshop’s goals with the university’s vision of fostering research and skill development. Prof. (Dr.) AVNL Sharma, Vice Chancellor (I/C), GIET University, elaborated on the strategic role of such workshops in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. He acknowledged the efforts of all contributors and encouraged participants to actively engage and make the most of the sessions. Prof. (Dr.) Chandra Dhwaj Panda, Vice-President, GIET University, commended the organizers for curating a meaningful and impactful program. He spoke about the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Dr. Gayathri. M from SRM University, Chennai, provided valuable insights into the workshop theme. She shared her expertise and experiences, inspiring participants to pursue excellence and embrace new technologies. Ms. Ranjana Parihar, Joint Secretary, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), delivered the keynote address. She underscored the role of academic workshops in enhancing skill development and their contribution to national progress. She also appreciated GIET University’s initiative in organizing such an event. Dr. V Ganesh, Co-Coordinator, GIET University, expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, and participants for their support and involvement.
