Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Held at GIET University

Report on Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Camp and Herbal Plantation Drive organised  at GIET University: 75 Units of Blood Collected

Gunupur, 27.06.26: On the occasion of 75^th Birth Anniversary of DR. Satya Prakash Panda, President of GIET University one Herbal Plantation drive and a voluntary blood donation camp was organised in the GIET University campus where a total of 75 units of blood is collected.

The Herbal Plantation drive was inaugurated by Dr. N. V. J. Rao, Registrar, GIET University 75 herbal saplings were planted.

The Blood Donation camp was inaugurated by Dr. A. V. N. L. Sharma, Vice – Chancellor, Dr. B. K. Tripathy, Pro-Vice Chancellor, GIET University, Gunupur, Dr. N. V. J. Rao, Registrar, GIET University as the guests of the occasion.

Dr. P. Vijay Kumar, Controller of Examinations, and Mrs. K. Jayashree, Principal, School of Nursingand  HoDs of different schools also attended the camp to motivate the blood donors. Dr. Prtyush Biswal, technicians Suruchi Rani Patra, Rakesh Kumar Panda, Rozy Nayak from the Gunupur Blood Bank actively participated in collecting the donated blood.

The camp was coordinated by NSS Program Officers Professor Mr. Bani Prasad Nayak (Unit-1), Dr. Premanshu Sekhar Rath, Mr. Pramod Ranjan Panda, Mr. Rabindra Kumar panda (Sports officer), Dr. S. S. Padhi, Krushna Prasad Das, Joshil Pattnaik.
