GIET University Organises IPR Awareness Programme in Berhampur

Gunupur, Feb. 11: The Intellectual Property Facilitating Centre (IPFC) of GIET University, Gunupur, organised an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Awareness Programme at UCP Engineering School, Berhampur, on Wednesday. The objective of the programme was to spread awareness among students, faculty members and industrialist about the protection of innovations and creative ideas. The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Raghvendra Kumar. This was followed by an address by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) AVNL Sharma. The Principal of UCP Engineering School delivered the third address, while Er. Manoranjan Mohapatra, Secretary, OASME, spoke on the importance of intellectual property for entrepreneurs and MSMEs. Dr. Sasank Sekhar Panda presented an overview of the IPFC-GIET University Cell and its initiatives. The expert talk was delivered by Dr. Anita Sabat, Odisha GI Consultant, who elaborated on Geographical Indications and their benefits. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Diptikanta Acharya, Member, IPFC. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. NVJ Rao, Registrar, GIET University, Gunupur, and Chairperson, IPFC-GIET University Cell. The programme was organised at UCP Engineering School, Berhampur, in collaboration with the District Industries Centre (DIC), Berhampur, and MSME authorities.

ଗୁଣୁପୁର, ଫେବୃଆରୀ ୧୧:  ଜିଆଇଇଟି ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ, ଗୁଣୁପୁରର ଇଣ୍ଟେଲେକ୍ଚୁଆଲ୍ ପ୍ରୋପର୍ଟି ଫ୍ୟାସିଲିଟେଟିଂ ସେଣ୍ଟର୍ (ଆଇପିଏଫସି) ପକ୍ଷରୁ ବୁଧବାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରସ୍ଥିତ ୟୁସିପି ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ ସ୍କୁଲ୍‌ରେ ମାନସିକ ସ୍ୱାମୀତ୍ୱ ଅଧିକାର (ଆଇପିଆର୍) ସଚେତନତା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ,ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଓ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗପତିମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନବୀନତା ଓ ସୃଜନଶୀଳ ଧାରଣାର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ଥିଲା। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ର ଆରମ୍ଭ ଡ଼ା. ରାଘବେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାରଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱାଗତ ଭାଷଣରେ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀଭାବେ କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର (ଡ଼ା.) ଏଭିଏନଏଲ୍ ଶର୍ମା ଉଦ୍ବୋଧନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ୟୁସିପି ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ ସ୍କୁଲ୍‌ର ପ୍ରଧାନଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ତୃତୀୟ ଭାଷଣ ରଖିଥିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଓଏଏସଏମଇର ସଚିବ ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟର ମନୋରଞ୍ଜନ ମହାପାତ୍ର ଉଦ୍ୟମୀ ଓ ଏମଏସଏମଇ ପାଇଁ ଆଇପିଆର୍ର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ବିଷୟରେ କହିଥିଲେ। ଡ଼ା. ସସାଙ୍କ ଶେଖର ପଣ୍ଡା ଆଇପିଏଫସି– ଜିଆଇଇଟି ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ସେଲ୍‌ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପ ଓ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଅବଗତ କରାଇଥିଲେ। ଓଡିଶା ଜିଆଇ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଡ଼ା. ଅନୀତା ସାବତ ଜିଓଗ୍ରାଫିକାଲ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିକେସନ୍‌ (ଜିଆଇ) ଓ ଏହାର ଲାଭ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ। ଶେଷରେ ଡ଼ା. ଦିପ୍ତିକାନ୍ତ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଜ୍ଞାପନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଡ଼ା. ଏନଭିଜେ ରାଓ, ରେଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରାର୍, ଜିଆଇଇଟି ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ଆଇପିଏଫସି ପ୍ରଧାନଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଙ୍କ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନରେ କାର୍ୟକ୍ରମଟି ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଶିଳ୍ପ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର (ଡିଆଇସି), ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଓ ଏମଏସଏମଇ କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଏହାର ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।
