“From Campus to Corporate – Build Your Professional Effectiveness”

GIET University, in collaboration with MacLead Certifications and the Sleepwell Foundation, successfully conducted a three-day online workshop titled “Campus to Corporate – Build Your Professional Effectiveness” from August 4th to 6th, 2025. This transformative program aimed to equip students with essential professional and interpersonal skills for a seamless transition from campus life to the corporate world. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. D. Anil Kumar.

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. A. V. N. L. Sharma, Vice Chancellor of GIET University, as the Chief Guest, who emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

Day 1 featured sessions on effective communication, overcoming barriers, and developing interview readiness. Activities included resume-building, mock interviews, and discussions on AI-driven hiring practices and employability skills.

Day 2 focused on digital presence and personality development. Students explored LinkedIn optimization, personal branding, goal setting, and emotional intelligence through engaging and interactive sessions.

Day 3 highlighted time management, teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving. Students participated in practical exercises and reflective activities to enhance their leadership and decision-making abilities.

The valedictory session was honored by Dr. Kakita Murali Gopal, Deputy Dean of GIET University, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to continue striving for personal and professional excellence.

Distinguished speakers and facilitators included Prof. Chandra Sekhar, Shri Sharwan Manocha, Mr. Harish Kurisetty, Mr. Shounak Choudhury, Ms. Shailaja Inavolu, and Shri Chinmay Regal, who provided valuable insights throughout the workshop.
