One Week Faculty Development Programme on Multimodal Effective Teaching Approach for E-Learning in Higher Education

The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering at Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology University, Odisha, Gunupur, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Academic and Administrative Development Centres (AADC) of GIET University, recently hosted a prestigious One-Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Multimodal Effective Teaching Approach for E-Learning in Higher Education.” Held from January 20 to January 24, 2025, the program was conducted in hybrid mode, enabling participation from both on-campus and remote attendees. The event began with an insightful welcome speech by Dr. Kali Charan Rath, who outlined the objectives and roadmap of the FDP. Dr. N. V. J. Rao, Registrar of GIET University, addressed the audience, emphasizing the university’s pivotal contributions to shaping technocrats and fostering societal progress.
