A Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “NEP: Orientation & Sensitization” was held on 10 April 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Admin Auditorium to strengthen faculty understanding of the National Education Policy and its implications for higher education practice.

Prof. Rabi Narayan Satpathy served as the resource person and addressed the theme, “Quality Universities and Colleges: A New and Forward‑looking Vision for India’s Higher Education System.” He highlighted the need for multidisciplinary, learner‑centric, and innovation‑driven institutions that promote holistic education, skill integration, and values‑based learning. He emphasized that quality higher education must foster critical thinking, social responsibility, and lifelong learning while aligning with the NEP framework.

The session was informative and interactive, enabling faculty to reflect on institutional reforms and pedagogic shifts required for effective NEP implementation. The FDP concluded with appreciation to the resource person and organizers for a meaningful and insightful programme.
