WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY OBSERVATION

Venue: GIET University, Gunupur

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a special awareness program was successfully organized NSS and NCC wing of GIET University, Gunupur with the objective to encourage voluntary blood donation among students and staffs. The event highlighted the importance of regular and safe blood donation as a noble act that saves countless lives.

The program witnessed active participation from students, NSS volunteers and NCC cadets who enthusiastically took part in the awareness session and pledged to become responsible blood donors.

Both dignitaries motivated the students and cadets by sharing insightful thoughts on the significance of blood donation, its life-saving potential, and the need for youth participation in such humanitarian efforts. The event concluded with the Blood Donor Pledge by all present, followed by a vote of thanks. The program achieved its goal of raising awareness and inspiring the student community towards a greater social cause.
