Celebration of Constitution Day

GANDHI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, GUNUPUR, RAYAGADA

On 26/11/24, the NSS team of GIET University, Gunupur celebrated the 75^th Constitution Day in the GIET University Campus. This day commemorates the day when the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949, which came into effect on January 26, 1950. The day is observed to promote the values of the Constitution and raise awareness among citizens about their fundamental rights and duties. Prof(Dr) A. V. N. L. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, GIET University Gunupur addressed the students and staffs of the university regarding the importance of this day.

The primary highlight of the Constitution Day celebrations was the solemn pledge-taking ceremony, where all the staffs and students of GIET University participated in taking an oath to uphold the principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution. This event was organized with coordination with Prof. Bani Prasad Nayak(Convener), Mr. S. Sibajee (PRO), NSS members and NSS volunteers.
