Day -1 (Inauguration)

The Department of CSA and CSE, GIET University, in association with Hebbale Academy Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, successfully organized a 3-Day Agentic AI Hackathon from 4th to 6th September 2025.

The program was inaugurated in the presence of esteemed dignitaries.

• K. M. Gopal, Deputy Dean, Computational Sciences, GIET University, delivered the Welcome Address.
• A. V. N. L. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, GIET University, emphasized the growing significance of Generative AI.
• Chandra Dhawaj Panda, Vice President, GIET University, addressed the gathering on the importance and applications of Agentic AI.

The hackathon was further enriched by guidance from eminent industry experts and facilitators from Hebbale Academy:

• Baidyanath Mohapatra, Vice President & Head of Relationships
• Piyush Gupta, Chief Product Officer
• Shashank Shankar, Co-Founder & Chief AI Officer

They shared valuable insights on Agentic AI and mentored the participants throughout the event.

The inaugural session concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. S. N. Das, HoD, Department of CSA, GIET University.
