The SARS Club, GIET University successfully conducted a three-day hands-on workshop titled “Embedded 101” on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th February, 2026, focusing on foundational and practical aspects of embedded systems using Arduino Uno and ESP32.
The workshop was designed to introduce students to the core concepts of embedded electronics and IoT, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications. Participants gained hands-on experience in microcontroller programming, circuit interfacing, sensor integration, and basic IoT concepts using industry-relevant tools and platforms.
Throughout the sessions, students actively engaged in live demonstrations, practical exercises, and guided coding sessions. The workshop also encouraged problem-solving and logical thinking through interactive discussions and a quiz competition, where participants showcased their learning and technical understanding.
The event received an enthusiastic response from students across various departments. It not only strengthened their technical skills but also sparked interest in embedded systems, robotics, and IoT-based projects. The Embedded 101 workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience, aligning with the club’s objective of promoting hands-on technical learning and innovation among students.
