Two days Workshop using HFSS and ORIGIN PRO Software

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, GIET University has successfully organized “Two Days Active Learning Program on “Antenna Design, Simulation and Plotting of Graphs with HFSS and Origin Pro Software” on 17^th and 18^th April 2024 at VLSI and PLC Labs in the department of ECE. The workshop aimed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of antenna design, simulation and plotting of graphs.

Resource person Dr. Ribhu Abhusan Panda has provided the knowledge on microstrip patch antenna design and simulation using HFSS (High frequency Structure Simulator) software. He has also provided the way to represent the results in a proper manner by plotting the graphs with the help of Origin Pro Software. Head of the Department, Dr.Bibhu Prasad motivated the student by informing the significance of antenna design and simulation for wireless communication.

This active learning program concluded successfully, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in the field of antenna design. The organizers are committed to organizing similar events in the future to continue fostering learning and innovation in this critical area of engineering and technology.
