Seminar cum Workshop, School of Agriculture (SoAg)


The seminar cum workshop titled “New ideas and opportunities for food processing sector in Odisha” was held for two days (29.04.2024 to 30.04.2024) organized by GIET University, Gunupur for the School of Agriculture (SoAg). Dr. N.G Iboyima Singh, former Scientist and Head of Department of Traditional Food and Sensory Science, CSIR-CFTRI was the chief guest of the programme. The programme commenced with lighting of the holy lamp and prayer, instilling good will into the minds of the students. Host Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta enlivened up the atmosphere and introduced the guests formally.

Dr. Manoj Das, Head of the Department, Biotechnology, addressed the audience with the inaugural speech, giving an eagle’s eye view for the topic of discussion. He also highlighted about the achievements of our esteemed chief guest, Dr. N G Iboyima Singh.
