About RDFMSA 2024

2-day International Conference on “Recent Developments in Functional Materials for Sustainable Application-2024”, sponsored by SERB, India, jointly organized by the Department of Basic Science and Humanities and the School of Sciences, GIET University from 20^th – 21^st April 2024. The chief guest of the event is Prof. K K Nanda, Director, IOP BBSR. Experts who deliberated in the first three sessions were: Dr. Subhankar Bedanta, Professor, NISER, BBSR, Dr Yagna Prakash Bhoi, Kyoto University, Japan, Dr. Dillip K Pradhan, Associate Professor, NIT Rourkela, Dr Satyaprakash Sahoo, Associate Professor, Institute of Physics Bhubaneswar, Dr. Umakanta Tripathy, Associate Professor, IIT ISM Dhanbad, Dr. Banarji Behera, Professor, Sambalpur University, Dr. Debakanta Samal, Associate Professor, Institute of Physics Bhubaneswar, Dr. Tapabrata Dam, Gwangju, South Korea, Dr. Dhiren Kumar Pradhan, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, Dr. Nihar Pradhan, Associate Professor, Jackson State University, USA & Dr. Rabindra Kumar Behera, Associate Professor, NIT Rourkela. The sessions were chaired by Dr. Dhrubananda Behera, Research Professor, GIETU, Dr. Satyaprakash Sahoo, IOP BBSR.

The fourth and final session of the day was chaired by Dr. Dillip K Pradhan , NIT Rourkela. The session, which comprised various interesting presentations by young scientists from various parts of the world, aimed at recognizing the scientific contributions of outstanding working on functional materials within the last two years.
