Inaugural Ceremony

The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Cell, GIET University, Gunupur-765022, proudly organized an inspiring Expert Talk and Workshop titled “Awake the Warrior within You” and “Shakti Sutra: Unlock the Secrets of Your Mind” on 5th July 2025. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Raghvendra Kumar, IKS Convener, followed by addresses from Dr. P Vijaya Kumar, Controller of Examinations, and Dr. A.V.N.L. Sharma, Vice Chancellor of the university. The event was graced by two eminent personalities—Mr. Yogendra Singh Yadav, Param Vir Chakra Awardee, who ignited patriotic fervor with his life experiences, and Ms. Samriti Kuchhal, National Weightlifting Champion, who motivated the audience with her strength-driven journey. Their engaging sessions aimed to empower students by connecting ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary self-development practices. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony and a vote of thanks by Dr. Radha Krushna Padhi, IKS Coordinator.
