Third year students, Civil Engineering Dept., GIETU had a two days study tour to Kolab Dam, Koraput, Odisha. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to get practical knowledge on distribution of water and production of electricity from a dam. Our students also got familiar with different terminologies like catchment area, hydraulic gates, water level, wing wall and body wall etc.
