The importance and application of chemical engineering thermodynamics in the industrial sector is remarkable in the present scenario. Now a day’s outcome based education is introduced in the syllabus for which practical knowledge is most essential to know. Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics (CET) is one of the core courses in the undergraduate B.E. / B.Tech. Curriculum in Chemical Engineering. Introducing a lab course on CET will greatly facilitate better learning of CET concepts, which are usually perceived by the students as abstract. The pivotal goal is to enable the students to appreciate the elegance yet broad usefulness of CET principles via experimental demonstration of concepts. Also various applications of Chemical engineering thermodynamics are included here for the knowledge up gradation which is the need of the time. . To arrange a rendezvous for scholarly deliberations and discussion to elicit possible methods and idea measures that may help address the malady, An AICTE Sponsored One Week Online Short Term Training Programme (STTP) On “Development of Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics Laboratory for Undergraduates” is being organized under the aegis Chemical Engineering Department during 14th -19th December 2020.
