Departmental Orientation Programme 2026

The Department of Computer Science and Applications (CSA) successfully conducted the Departmental Orientation Programme 2026 for the BCA and MCA 2026 batches on 26 August 2026 at Electrical Auditorium. The programme began with the welcome and felicitation of the dignitaries, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. HOD Prof. S. N. Das Sir addressed the gathering and provided valuable guidance about the department, academics, discipline, and student development.

The programme was enriched by an extraordinary and inspiring presentation by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. B. K. Tripathi Sir, while Principal Dr. K. M. Gopal Sir shared valuable life lessons and guidance for the students. Placement Officer Prof. Dr. Jyotirmay Kumar Mishra Sir highlighted motivation, career development, placement opportunities, and university support. Dean, Student Affairs Prof. Ranjita Kumar Panigrahi Sir also guided students regarding student life, activities, opportunities, and overall development.

The programme also included the felicitation and presentation of certificates and mementos to students for Best Academic Performance, Best Attendance, and Placement Achievements, recognizing their dedication and accomplishments. The active participation and support of all faculty members, staff members, administration and management, and students contributed greatly to the success of the programme. Finally, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Dakua Sir delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, staff, achievers, and students. The Departmental Orientation Programme 2026 concluded successfully in a positive, inspiring, and enthusiastic atmosphere.
