VISIT OF Dr. DEEPAK KUMAR PANDA, SCIENTIST ‘G’, DRDO DERHADOON

It was a proud and memorable moment for me to welcome Dr. Deepak Kumar Panda to GIET University for the academic development of the Mechanical Engineering Department, on date 27.04.2026. During his visit, he engaged in an insightful and meaningful interaction with the key leaders of the department. The discussion was highly enriching, focusing on the evolving role of technical education in addressing real-world challenges and strengthening academic–research collaborations.

In his address, Dr. Panda emphasized the crucial responsibility of technical universities in nation-building. He highlighted how institutions can contribute through innovation, research, and the development of skilled engineers who are capable of addressing national needs. His thoughts inspired faculty members to align their academic and research activities with the broader vision of sustainable and technological advancement for the country.

Dr. Deepak Kumar Panda also given keen interest during interaction with the key leaders of MBA Department and student volunteers, where he discussed the importance of industry readiness and interdisciplinary learning.
