 The School of Nursing, GIET University, Gunupur successfully organized a Health Awareness Programme on 7th April 2026 at Regeda village, Rayagada District, in observance of World Health Day 2026, embracing the theme “Together for Health: Stand with Science.”

Our dedicated nursing students actively engaged with the community through impactful poster presentations on vital topics like personal hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and vaccination.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents and school students, making the session both informative and interactive.

This initiative not only strengthened community awareness but also provided invaluable practical exposure to our students in community health education—reinforcing the power of science, awareness, and collective action in shaping a healthier future.
