National Champion at NITI Quest India 2026

Congratulations to Team Tejas!

We are immensely proud to announce that Team Tejas from GIET University has emerged as a National Champion at NITI Quest India 2026 – National Startup Strategy and Pitch Challenge, winning a prize pool of ₹2,00,000.
Competing against more than 10,000 teams from across the country, Team Tejas was shortlisted among the finalists and secured a place among the Top 12 college teams along with 7 early-stage startups at the national level. The team was honored with the Best Defence & Aerospace Innovation Excellence Award for their project “Vayu Kavach – Autonomous Airspace Defense System.”
In recognition of their innovation, technical excellence, and strategic vision, the team also received a winning grant from distinguished industry leaders including Mr. Vikas Lachhwani (Co-founder, mCaffeine & Hyphen), Mr. Varun Patil (Director, CESIM India), and Mr. Manas Pal (Founder, PedalStart).
