The Alumni Cell & Mechanical Department hosted a highly insightful alumni talk delivered by Mr. R Raj Sekhar a distinguished alumnus of the Batch 1999-2003, Mechanical Branch on 06.09.2025. The session was conducted on the topic “Engineering the Future: Careers, Campus Recruitment, and Real-World Applications”.
Mr. R Raj Sekhar Currently working as a Branch Manager-AP @ EagleBurgmann, Visakhapatnam.
Mr. Sekhar shared personal experiences of transitioning from academic concepts to real-world engineering problems. He stressed the importance of hands-on learning, internships, mini-projects, and participation in competitions such as SAE & hackathons.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment. Questions ranged from higher education choices to strategies for standing out in placement drives. The speaker patiently addressed all queries, making the session both informative and motivational.
