Inaugural Ceremony

The Center for Excellence on Indian Knowledge System (IKS) at GIET University, Gunupur-765022, successfully organized an insightful Expert Talk on “Reel V/S Real Life” and a Workshop on Habit Build Transformation Program: Learn Hypnosis on 7th July 2025. The inaugural ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by IKS Convener Dr. Raghvendra Kumar, followed by inspiring addresses from Vice Chancellor Dr. AVNL Sharma and Dean, School of Agriculture, Dr. V. S. Devadas. The session featured renowned Indian actress Ms. Sanchita Shetty, who engaged the audience with her reflections on the contrasts between cinematic portrayals and real-life experiences. Later, Mr. Sashi Bhushan Nayak, Junior Scientist Winner-2023, conducted a transformative workshop focused on habit building through hypnosis techniques. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony and a vote of thanks delivered by IKS Coordinator Mr. Bani Prasad Nayak, marking a successful initiative in promoting holistic development and traditional knowledge practices among students.
