M. Tech in Construction Technology & Management

Overview

Master of Technology (MTech) Construction Technology and Management is a two-year postgraduate degree in Construction Technology. Construction Technology and Management program is an interdisciplinary program. It is a fusion of engineering and management. It focuses on the knowledge and techniques required for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of large-scale projects such as the design and construction of mega-structures like buildings, ships, aircraft, roads, bridges, airports, sewage systems, multi-purpose rivers valley projects, and so on. This program trains engineers and architects to become competent professionals in construction engineering and project management. It gives the students an understanding of the scientific principles involved in successfully executing and managing construction projects.

Students who wish to pursue this program must have completed their B. Tech. /B.E. or equivalent examination in Civil Engineering or B.Arch. With a minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA score of 5.5 from a recognized university. Candidates should have cleared the GATE / Entrance examination conducted by the university’s State Government / Entrance examination.

Eligibility

  • Minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. /B. Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches, Candidates who have a valid GATE score, are eligible to apply for M. Tech.
