B.Sc in Nursing

Overview

According to the National Health Policy of 2002, the B. Sc. Nursing programme is a four-year undergraduate degree aimed at fostering the values, competency, and critical care skills that are required for the professional practice of nursing and midwifery.

Students can address the nation’s, society’s, and individuals’ health concerns thanks to the program’s simplified structure. By adhering to a code of moral principles and behaviour at all times, as well as by carrying out their personal, social, and professional obligations to further national goals, the programme trains students to be responsible citizens.

Students can get a practical understanding of their studies through projects and assignments in the B. Sc. Nursing program’s classroom instruction. The students must do a six-month internship once the programme is through to gain experience in clinical settings and learn from them. Candidates seeking challenging professional prospects in the same sector may pursue higher education.
