ADMISSION NOTICE

The M.Sc. Biotechnology programme of GIET University, Gunupur has been accorded (10 seats) nationally supported PG programme by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India from 2020 onwards. The BIRAC supported scheme to promote a culture of applied research and related to societal or industry entrepreneurial innovation among young students and researchers is operating at the Department/University.

Eligibility for admission into DBT supported MSc Biotechnology Programme

1. A pass in B.Sc. Biotechnology / B.Sc. with Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Physics / Chemistry / Environmental Sciences / Agriculture / BVSc. /B.Tech Biotechnology / B. Pharm / BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT and any other related discipline with not less than 45 % marks in aggregate.
2. Qualified GAT-B 2024 score conducted by RCB, Faridabad (NTA)

How to apply

The eligible candidates are requested to fill up the admission form available in the link https://admission.giet.edu to admit into DBT supported MSc Programme 2024. You may mentioned your GAT-B score on the last row of application form (written as other/state please specify). The selection shall be made on purely merit basis.

Last date for submission of application form: 20.06. 2024                  

Course fee structure

Semester Fee: 12,500/- (MSc Biotechnology Programme constitutes 4 semesters). Separate hostels are available for boys and girls students. The hostel charges for boarding and lodging as per the university norms.
