World Hepatitis Day 2026

On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day 2026, the School of Nursing, GIET University, Gunupur organized a series of awareness programmes under the theme “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down.”
The observance featured an insightful health awareness session by Dr. Laxman Kumar Patro, engaging poster presentations, quiz competitions, and community health education programmes at MKCG Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur. These initiatives empowered students and the community with essential knowledge on hepatitis prevention, early detection, vaccination, and treatment.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to building a healthier society through awareness, education, and compassionate healthcare.
